Former Skid Row singer Sebastian Bach recently addressed critics and fans who have doubts about his upcoming performances with Twisted Sister, sharing his thoughts in an interview with Loudwire. Bach is stepping in to replace frontman Dee Snider for the band’s 2026 reunion shows after Snider resigned earlier this year due to ongoing health challenges.

The Fall 2026 dates are being billed as a selective reunion, with founding guitarists Jay Jay French and Eddie Ojeda remaining in the lineup while Bach takes over lead vocals. Bach, who joined Skid Row in 1987 and helped drive hits like “Youth Gone Wild” and “18 and Life” before parting ways with the band in 1996, expressed his deep appreciation for Twisted Sister and confidently responded to those questioning his ability to deliver on stage.

“I am a real fan of Twisted Sister and there’s no one that can even mess with me on Twisted Sister,” Bach said. “I’m ready. If you don’t think I can do it, come to the f*cking show.”

Bach made it clear that he is approaching the opportunity as a longtime Twisted Sister fan, not simply a replacement singer. Still, stepping into Snider’s role brings major expectations because his voice and personality have defined the band for decades.

The shows will give fans their first chance to see how Bach handles Twisted Sister’s classic material. His challenge will be bringing his own energy while staying true to the sound fans know.

The upcoming reunion shows will mark a significant moment for Twisted Sister fans as Bach takes the stage to front the legendary group on their 50th anniversary tour dates.
