Former Arch Enemy vocalist Alissa White-Gluz has confirmed an exciting surprise collaboration with metalcore band Ice Nine Kills for a series of special live shows throughout June 2026. The announcement came during an interview where White-Gluz revealed the spontaneous nature of the partnership.

“I had another little surprise for everyone and so I’m doing some shows with Ice Nine Kills because they’re friends of mine and I really love what they do,” White-Gluz explained. “I love when people push the performances to the next level and Ice Nine Kills definitely does that. They just asked, ‘Hey, what are you doing in June? We have these shows. Would you like to be a part of them?’ And so I said yes. We just got together and looked at the songs and we have like something pretty special planned.”

This collaboration marks White-Gluz’s third major musical project, adding to her ongoing work with DragonForce and her newer band Blue Medusa. The partnership demonstrates her continued presence in the metal scene and her willingness to explore creative ventures with fellow musicians who share her passion for pushing live performance boundaries.

White-Gluz joined Ice Nine Kills at Rock im Park in Nuremberg, Germany on June 5, 2026. She performed on tracks including “Twisting The Knife” and “A Work Of Art,” showcasing the special arrangements the two had prepared together. The very next day, she appeared alongside the band at Rock am Ring in Gaibach, Germany on June 6, delivering the same powerful performances that had impressed audiences the previous evening.

White-Gluz continued her guest appearances with Ice Nine Kills at the LKA Longhorn in Stuttgart, Germany on June 16, 2026. She performed “Bites” and “Love Bites” as part of the band’s Silver Scream tour setlist. These performances represented a carefully curated selection of songs that allowed both artists to showcase their chemistry and the special arrangements they had developed specifically for this collaboration.

The guest appearances were part of Ice Nine Kills’ broader European tour run during mid-2026, which included performances at major festivals such as Nova Rock in Austria and Download Festival in England. White-Gluz’s involvement underscored the mutual respect between the artists and their shared commitment to delivering memorable live experiences that transcend typical concert performances.

The partnership has resonated strongly with metal fans across Europe. Audiences responded enthusiastically to the unexpected union of White-Gluz’s powerful vocal presence and Ice Nine Kills’ theatrical, horror-themed metalcore aesthetic. The collaboration exemplifies the collaborative spirit within the metal community, where established artists continue to support and elevate one another’s work.
