Fear Factory guitarist Dino Cazares remained unfazed by a recent online critic. A fan called him an “a— hole” with a huge ego. Cazares cleverly embraced the comparison to massive music legends. He fired back and noted that he must be doing something right if that was the worst insult he could get.
The public interaction happened on the social media platform X. A user shared a negative opinion regarding the musician. The fan asked the community about their personal encounters with the guitarist. “Anyone ever meet Dino Cazares in person? He is an a** hole,” the critic wrote. The user then exaggerated the musician’s behavior. “He thinks he is Mick Jagger, Elvis, or just the biggest rock star,” the fan added.
Cazares quickly noticed the harsh comment. He decided to address the insult directly on his official page. Instead of getting angry, he turned the criticism into a massive compliment. “If the worst thing you can say is that I am like Mick Jagger and Elvis, I must be doing something right,” Cazares responded. He simply dismissed the negativity with his confident reply.
The guitarist currently ignores the online trolls and focuses on his real-world music career. Fear Factory recently continued their extensive global touring schedule. Cazares successfully rebooted the legendary industrial metal band alongside their new lead vocalist, Milo Silvestro.
The group spent the last few months writing and recording their next studio album. This upcoming project marks a major milestone for the band. It serves as the first Fear Factory record to feature Silvestro’s voice following the bitter departure of original singer Burton C. Bell.
