Joe Satriani Confirms Ongoing Work With Sammy Hagar, Reveals Tour Plans

In a recent interview with Loudwire, guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani addressed speculation about his status with Sammy Hagar’s band. His absence from Hagar’s recent San Antonio pre-show Instagram video had sparked rumors about his potential departure from the group.

“I’m writing and recording with Sammy, preparing for two separate tours and I have art projects going on for the Wentworth Gallery,” Satriani stated. “I just made a connection to do some collaboration with a famous artist that I’m really looking forward to. I’m always moving forward, I suppose. I don’t have time to pat myself on the back.”

Fans had expressed concern about Satriani’s status in the band following his recent absence from promotional activities. This confirmation brings welcome news to the fanbase.
