Kelly Osbourne shared a personal update about her father Ozzy Osbourne’s current state in an exclusive interview with Hello Magazine. The legendary Black Sabbath frontman prepares for his final live performance, marking the end of an era in rock history.

“He is doing so well, and every day is a new day,” Kelly shared. “He is so nervous, but so excited, because this is the piece de resistance, the final countdown, and I want him to have that experience so badly.”

Kelly’s heartfelt update offers a glimpse into the preparations for this historic moment in rock music history. Several significant developments have already been announced for the farewell concert.

Documentation from Ticketmaster UK revealed the official title of the farewell performance: ‘Back To The Beginning.’ The event will take place on July 5, 2025, at Villa Park in Birmingham, Ozzy’s hometown.

The concert will reunite the complete original lineup of Black Sabbath. Ozzy will join Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward on stage after a twenty-year separation.

Ozzy’s official website confirmed an impressive roster of metal heavyweights for the event. Metallica, Slayer, and Pantera will perform in tribute to the Prince of Darkness.

This gathering of legendary acts highlights the profound influence Ozzy and Black Sabbath have maintained over the heavy metal genre throughout their career.

Charitable Impact

The concert organizers will direct all proceeds to several charitable organizations. The beneficiaries include Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and Acorn Children’s Hospice.

This charitable initiative elevates the significance of an already monumental farewell to one of rock music’s most iconic figures.
