Falling in Reverse frontman Ronnie Radke recently claimed that the Red Hot Chili Peppers make “garbage” music. He shared his thoughts in a post on Instagram.
The post featured a quote from musician Nick Cave criticizing the band’s music. Radke also added the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ hit song ‘Californication’ to his post.
The quote shared by Radke read, “I’m forever near a stereo saying ‘What the f*ck is this garbage?’ And the answer is always the Red Hot Chili Peppers.”
Nick Cave later downplayed his famous dig at the Red Hot Chili Peppers. He clarified that the comment was an offhand and somewhat uncharitable remark rather than a serious feud. He also noted that there was no malice intended in his original statement.
Radke is known for openly criticizing other rock bands and artists on social media. He has a long history of public feuds with other rock musicians and bands, including ongoing rifts and clashes with Sebastian Bach, Godsmack, Spiritbox, Chris Motionless of Motionless In White, and The Used.
Meanwhile, the Red Hot Chili Peppers have remained active in the live-music conversation. Tour dates for their performances have been circulating online.
