“I never in a million years thought I’d be where I am today,” Wong revealed. “From tours sleeping in the trunk of vans to touring the world first class, from walking away from music for years and dealing with substance abuse to growing on social media and joining the legendary Smashing Pumpkins and selling out stadiums—there have been countless moments where I could have (and ‘logically’ should have) given up for good.”

“My biggest piece of advice? Fail. Fail so hard, so excruciatingly and painfully hard, that failure becomes your best friend,” she continued. “Because it’s in those moments—the lowest, hardest ones—that the magic truly happens. Do you get up, dust yourself off, and keep going? Do you learn from every setback and evolve? Do you fight for your truth to the point of insanity? Yes.”

“But perseverance alone isn’t enough,” Wong added. “I owe so much to the incredible people I’ve met along this journey—friends, mentors, loved ones—who believed in me when I struggled to believe in myself.”

Wong’s story of resilience stands as a testament to her remarkable journey to her current position with the legendary band.
