System Of A Down Drummer Sets Clear Terms For Future Album

System of a Down drummer John Dolmayan has addressed the possibility of a new album in a recent interview with Lilian Tahmasian. The band hasn’t released a full album since 2005’s ‘Hypnotize.’ They continue to perform live shows together despite creative differences.

“I don’t know if I want [a new System album] at this point,” Dolmayan said. “There’s just too much drama involved.”

“I like going out and having a good time with my friends and playing shows, and I don’t want that to disappear,” he continued. “There would have to be very strict guidelines for me to make another record with System again.”
