“So much to share, this week I’ll be posting a lot… This is a new beginning…” the singer wrote on X. “Thank you AC/DC with all our hearts, can’t be more grateful the Pretty Reckless has a lot of change coming to it… Get ready.”

The band’s last show with AC/DC was in Dublin, Ireland on August 17. The Pretty Reckless had been touring with them since May. “It’s f*cking AC/DC. That’s it,” Momsen previously said about touring with AC/DC when the news broke out.

After the touring news, Taylor posted her workout routine on X, saying she was preparing for the tour. In the video, she was hitting a tractor tire with a sledgehammer. “The Pretty Reckless will be supporting AC/DC on their European tour,” said AC/DC in March while announcing the group as their opening act.

“Night one with AC/DC… Exhausted, jet lagged, but so excited I can’t sleep… So tired, but in a good way, thank you Germany and Veltins Arena for a great tour kickoff,” Momsen wrote on Instagram after their first show with AC/DC.

In a June interview with Classic Rock, the vocalist talked about how they reacted to The Pretty Reckless opening for AC/DC, explaining, “One of the band members was driving when he heard, and he almost crashed his car [laughs]. Here’s a great story. Last November my agent asked me about touring.”

She added, “We were starting to make a record, and told him no – not unless AC/DC, The Who, or the Rolling Stones called. Christmas and New Year passed, and we were in the studio. Then I get a text from Neil [Warnock, the agent] that says: ‘AC/DC, plus The Pretty Reckless. All [European] shows.’ And I go: ‘Oh sh*t.’ So we put the record on hold, and I guess we are going on tour.”

The European tour was AC/DC’s first tour in 8 years. They supported their 2020 comeback album ‘Power Up.’
