In a recent Instagram post, Zak Starkey talked about the possibility of joining Oasis for a reunion show.

“This has happened before – couple of times actually -they see Oasis and the Who on my Wikipedia and think the worst ‘I’m in a much more well-behaved band now Mantra of the Cosmos with Shaun Ryder Bez and wild child Andy Bell’ ( boy is he a handful!),” the drummer wrote, sharing some news headlines about being kicked out of Airbnb manor for leaking party plans.

“Mate! You joining Oasis if it happens next year???” a user asked in the comment section. Starkey replied by saying, “I don’t know it will happen -only two people will ever know that but as the greatest band of my generation…”

Liam and Noel Gallagher have sparked rumors of an Oasis reunion by teasing an announcement on Tuesday. A social media clip showed the date ‘27.08.24’ and ‘8 am.’ This message excited fans who have wanted the band to reunite since they split in 2009 after a backstage fight.

Liam also hinted at it on X. “Noel and Liam Gallagher appear to have settled their differences and, if the truce holds, will play massive concerts in London and at Manchester’s Heaton Park in 2025,” The Times and The Sunday Times wrote in their article caption.

“Heaton Park terrible venue for concerts,” a user wrote. Liam replied, saying, “See you down the front you big fanny.”

There are rumors that Oasis might headline Glastonbury. At the Reading Festival, Liam dedicated ‘Half The World Away’ to his brother Noel and ‘Cigarettes & Alcohol’ to the band’s haters. The teaser clip for Tuesday’s date also appeared on the stage screens at the end of the show.

Some reports also say the band might play 10 nights at Wembley Stadium and 10 nights at Heaton Park in Manchester. These were some of their last shows before they split in 2009.
