Jelly Roll is trying to end the feud between his two friends, Machine Gun Kelly and Eminem. In a recent interview with Flagrant, the rapper shared his plan to bring the two together, saying he believes they have more in common than they realize.

Jelly Roll explained that he hadn’t yet brought the idea up to Eminem but was still hopeful about the possibility. “My heart is always to bring them together one day because I see so much more of them and each other than they know,” he said.  “Now I hadn’t really brought it up to Marshall yet because I’m just still kind of glad that I’m still in that circumference to be able to have the conversations, but I do see there’s so much more in them than not.”

Jelly Roll also gave MGK some perspective, reminding him of how influential Eminem was. He pointed out that growing up, being mentioned in an Eminem song was a huge deal for any artist. “I also gave Kel some perspective, too. I was like, ‘We all grew up watching Eminem, take over the game early.’ If you got mentioned in an Eminem song, it was like getting mentioned in a comedy special. You were on f*cking fire, you couldn’t be hotter if you got mentioned in an Eminem special or an HBO special.”

The feud between MGK and Eminem began back in 2012 when MGK tweeted that Eminem’s daughter Hailie was ‘hot as f*ck.’ At the time, Hailie was 16 and MGK was 22. Later, MGK claimed that Eminem pressured media outlets to ban his music because of the tweet, and he mentioned this in a 2017 freestyle on LA Leakers. In response, Eminem dropped the diss track ‘Not Alike,’ mocking MGK’s image and lyrics.

MGK hit back with his own diss track, ‘Rap Devil.’ In the track, he made some accusations, including claiming that Eminem asked Diddy to ruin his career. The song gained a lot of attention, with many fans saying MGK won the first round.

Eminem later explained that his diss track was in response to MGK thinking he was trying to ruin his career. However, Eminem made it clear that he didn’t care about MGK’s success and pointed out that there were many better rappers than him. He admitted that while he wanted to destroy MGK’s career, he didn’t want to help him get more attention.

Though the feud still doesn’t have a clear winner, Jelly Roll hopes that one day his plan will work and bring the two rappers together.
