I knew the beast I was fighting which is that they’re always going to try to point me and paint me into this box into this corner of being a not real artist that I’m not a legitimate artist.”

I’m just me, an artist doing what I do… If you want to see it as a joke, you go right ahead and you keep propagating that well I’ll keep making my songs and we’ll keep getting more and more followers and audience.”
