5. The Abysmal Eye

This track also appears on the same album, as the following track of the previous song. Compared to ‘Broken Cog,’ ‘The Abysmal Eye’ is particularly heavier and makes a heavier introduction, both with Jens Kidman’s vocals and the instrumentals.

4. Rational Gaze

This is one of the earlier tracks of Meshuggah. Known for their blend of progressive death metal and djent, ‘Rational Gaze’ showcases Meshuggah’s signature rhythmic complexity. 3. Born In Dissonance

‘Born In Dissonance’ is a 2016 addition to Meshuggah’s catalog, and it doesn’t disappoint. The song is a whirlwind of dissonant riffs and pulsating rhythms. The intricate guitar work, combined with Haake’s drumming, creates a dense sonic landscape. The track also features some atmospheric elements, adding layers to Meshuggah’s sonic palette.

2. Demiurge

‘Demiurge’ is a gem that grabs the listener from the first note. The intricate guitar patterns and rhythmically complex drumming are Meshuggah at their finest. The song’s groove, the polyrhythmic elements, and the breakdown keeps the listener on the edge throughout the whole song. ‘Demiurge’ appears as the last song on the setlist as a part of their encore, an incredible song to finish a show.

1. Bleed

‘Bleed’ is a number-one fan favorite with its blasting drums and chunky riffs. The drums of the song have amazed both the fans and other drummers since its release, and it’s definitely worth hearing live. Along with ‘Demiurge,’ Meshuggah adds ‘Bleed’ to the end of their list as an encore, so you won’t be leaving without hearing it.
