Alicia Taylor has shared details about Corey Taylor’s new mask.

The rocker recently updated his mask with glowing red lights around the eyes for Slipknot’s 25th-anniversary tour. The frontman debuted the mask during Knotfest Brasil, and Alicia posted a photo on X, jokingly captioning it, “five nights at coreys heyooo,” referencing the ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s’ video game.

When asked about the mask’s design, Alicia explained that the lights were created using clear round plastic with red lights placed on the inside part of the mask’s eye openings: “Clear round plastic with red lights inside that are placed on the inside part of the eye opening of the mask – you’re close, think like flexible plastic glasses or almost like those suctions for a shower caddy.”

She also mentioned that Corey has trouble seeing while wearing the mask: “Nope! Poor thing was walking like a zombie coming on and off stage. Snagging him some anti-fog spray today – a little trick my girls and I do when we wear the helmets for MIW and they light up/get foggy. It can be real scary!”

Slipknot is currently touring South America, finishing this leg on November 9, before moving to Europe and the U.K. for shows starting on December 5 in Amsterdam. Their tour will continue into 2025, with Knotfest Australia in late February and early March, and several European festivals planned for June.
