Slipknot burst onto the scene in 1995, not just with their intense music but also with their horror-inspired masks and matching outfits. The idea came from Shawn Crahan, who wore a clown mask during early rehearsals. The rest of the band followed suit, creating unique masks that helped them focus purely on the music without personal identities getting in the way.

Similarly, Insane Clown Posse (ICP) emerged from Detroit’s underground scene in 1989, rocking their signature clown face paint. This wasn’t just for show—it became a symbol of unity and rebellion against mainstream music. Over the years, the hip-hop duo saw a few lineup changes, but today, ICP is solidified as Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope.

Joseph Bruce, aka Violent J, has faced some health struggles in recent years. In 2021, he revealed that he had heart issues, which forced him to cut back on touring. Even so, he hasn’t slowed down creatively. He’s still making music, staying connected with fans through different platforms, and leading the Juggalo community, keeping ICP’s legacy alive.

Shaggy 2 Dope has been in the game for over 30 years, leaving his mark both as part of ICP and as a solo artist. ICP’s albums ‘The Great Milenko’ and ‘The Amazing Jeckel Brothers’ have both gone gold and platinum while Shaggy’s solo work, like ‘F.T.F.O. (F*ck The F*ck Off),’ showcased his own style. Beyond music, he’s heavily involved in professional wrestling and even co-founded Juggalo Championship Wrestling. With all these ventures combined, his estimated net worth sits at around $13 million.
