Linkin Park is back, and they are getting ready to release something big.
On August 24, the band posted a mysterious 100-hour countdown timer on their social media, along with a link to their official website. Linkin Park’s website domain also got updated to ‘ø.linkinpark.com,’ and the official unlisted YouTube video of the countdown is titled ‘ø.’
It’s hard to tell exactly what’s coming. The band has done some throwbacks recently, like their ‘Papercuts (Singles Collection 2000 – 2023)’ album and last year’s ‘Meteora’ 20th-anniversary boxset, but this teaser feels like it could be something bigger.
In April, Billboard reported that Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, and Dave Farrell were considering a possible 2025 reunion tour and might bring in a female vocalist to replace their late lead singer Chester Bennington. WME was also looking for offers for a potential tour.
However, a few fans think it might be an unreleased song rather than a bigger project. Either way, we will soon see what the hype is about!
