Gene Simmons Defends $12K Roadie Experience Price Tag

KISS bassist Gene Simmons discussed his ‘Roadie for a Day’ experience pricing in a recent interview with WIVB. The exclusive package offers fans a behind-the-scenes experience with his solo band for $12,495.

“This is not for everybody and it ain’t cheap,” Simmons said. “It’s also a different world than what I grew up in. Nowadays, if you get a papercut… everybody gets sued.”

This premium fan experience marks a new chapter in Simmons’s connection with the KISS audience after their retirement from live performances.

End Of An Era

KISS performed their final ‘End Of The Road’ tour show in December 2023, as documented by Blabbermouth. This event marked the conclusion of their traditional live performances as a band.

The band’s retirement from touring followed decades of high-energy performances that shaped their rock music legacy.

Q104.3 revealed KISS’s partnership with Pophouse Entertainment for an innovative avatar show launching in 2027.

Pophouse Entertainment has acquired KISS’s music catalog and branding rights. This acquisition ensures the band’s legacy will continue in digital format.

Solo Ventures

iHeart Radio announced Gene Simmons will launch a solo US tour with the Gene Simmons Band in April 2025.

This new venture demonstrates Simmons’ dedication to live performances while KISS explores new forms of entertainment and fan engagement.
