The Coral Springs Police Department responded to a domestic violence call on May 3rd, 2023. This call led to multiple serious charges against the 24-year-old artist. The incident included allegations of battery and child neglect. Reports indicated violence against a woman, an infant, and a pet. The incident involved the artist’s girlfriend and their one-month-old child.

The legal process created months of uncertainty about Poorstacy’s future in the music industry. A big development emerged in January 2024. As reported by Reddit, Poorstacy announced through his Instagram story that “All charges were dropped!”

Poorstacy has maintained a low profile since the resolution of his legal troubles. His Instagram bio features the word “soon,” so it seems he has plans for upcoming projects or releases. The dismissal of charges created an opportunity for his return to music, but the events’ impact on his public image and career remains uncertain.
