Hetfield divorced his partner, Francesca Tomasi, after 25 years of marriage, and the former couple chose to part ways on good terms.
Hetfield and Gillett were seen together on camera back in April last year. While these images gave a glimpse into the rocker’s personal life, his girlfriend’s identity remained unknown until a month later.
The mystery was solved when Gillett posted on Instagram, revealing her name and showing her love for the Metallica singer, which confirmed their relationship.
